After getting my house on the market, I would call Shelby as soon as new homes came on the market and he would run over and take walkthrough videos, measure the garage for me etc. to make sure it would work. Everything through closing went smoothly.

Shelby is the first and only real estate agent I’ve purchased a home with - he has set the bar high! I currently live and work in CA, but with family moving to the Boise area, I was interested in buying a home with the intentions of relocating later down the road and renting it for a few years. Though I have been to other parts of Idaho (CDA), Boise was unfamiliar to me. Shelby set me up on an email list for different properties in my price range and ideal location, as well as emailed me info pertaining to the different housing communities. Ultimately, the deciding factor was location and we found a property minutes away from family. Since we are out of state, Shelby was able to create a Go-Pro video walk though of the home. He did a great job! The home looked beautiful in the video and even better in person. It was a joy to be able to share that video with our friends and family California — it really put into perspective the quality of the homes up North and the community the home is nestled in. Everyone was already calling ‘dibs’ on the bedrooms! After seeing the video and reviewing the CCRs, we put in an offer! The entire ‘negotiation’ with the seller was done in less than 2hrs with two modifications on a late Monday night. The property was originally listed for 399k (reduced to 375k) and we put in an offer of 358k. In the end, we got it for 363k just before midnight. Since I was at work, Shelby texted me updates and really negotiated with the sellers on our behalf. We walked into the house with instant equity - it appraised for 370k! And when we were able to make it up to Idaho (a week after offer was accepted), Shelby set up a time for us to view the property not once, but twice. This solidified that we made the right choice by submitting the offer and getting into contract. After the sale went though, Shelby gave us info on setting up the utilities in our name, ‘Ins & Outs of the property’ by the former owners, and insured the keys safely made it to CA. He made sure that the house was secured for the ‘in between’ time from when we bought the house to when we were able to travel to Idaho. Throughout the entire home buying experience, Shelby was extremely responsive, whether it was via text, email, or telephone. He was very professional and knowledgeable. Prior to meeting Shelby, I briefly considered another real estate agent - she was everything Shelby was not, namely she failed to ‘remember’ me and follow up with setting up an appointment. Shelby makes your home buying goals a priority. It’s not just about making the sale, but helping you find the property suited to your needs. When the time comes to buy another home, I sincerely hope to use Shelby’s services again. He’s my go-to guy!
